Smiling High School is a dynamic environment that continuously inspires students through a wide range of interdisciplinary projects in which they actively participate.
For example, 11th graders take part in the “Che Storia!” contest, focusing on story writing and historical archive research.
Meanwhile, 12th graders manage a social media profile in English (smiling_science), combining language skills with STEM subjects and cutting-edge technology.
On top of that, throughout the year, teachers organize events, lectures, and guided tours of exhibitions and museums to enrich the learning experience.
EVALUATION AND SELF-ASSESSMENT
We encourage students to develop self-assessment skills and to compare their own evaluations with those of their teachers. This practice helps students gain deeper insight into their abilities and academic progress.
LANGUAGE CERTIFICATIONS
Every year, students have the opportunity to earn prestigious language certifications: Cambridge English, DELE for Spanish, and HSK for Chinese. Our goal is for students to reach a C1 level in English, B2 in Spanish, and HSK Level III (equivalent to B1) in Chinese.
CONCLUSIVE DIPLOMA
Our students take the Esame di Stato and receive the High School Diploma (diploma di Maturità), which grants access to universities both in Italy and abroad.
